I’ve always loved Vincent van Gogh’s artwork. Recently, I saw one of his pieces, here, that’s similar to this piece.
I decided to create my take on his piece.
I’ve been working on improving my art skills. Not just photography art. I’m relieved that art can be blurred, it can be imperfect, and anything you want it to be. It’s an inspiration that as long as it helps your soul some way… it’s on!
What have you branched out to try new and develop it into more? I’d like to see what you’ve been doing. If not, why? What’s holding you back?
Yay! Bath time.
When I was a little kid I loved taking a bath. I loved the water.
I remember being so excited to about my bath that I’d splash the water. I loved to watch it splash up.
The other thing I loved is going to the swimming pool and doing the cannonball off the diving board and make the water splash up high. I loved hearing the screams of excitement from everyone!
That’s what this art piece reminds me of. Aren’t these kinds of memories awesome?
I love the feeling of happiness. Don’t you?
What’s holding you back from feeling happy?
There’s always angels in our midst.
They’re God’s messengers and our guardians.
Some angels help us.
As guardians, they protect and guide us.
God uses angels. He sends them to give us divine messages.
Whatever they do it’s because God ordered them to.

Well, here we are. Two of us at the Lavender Farm. The clouds provided great filtered light. The bees were buzzing and busy visiting different blooms creating pollination. They were fast. They were hard to capture in the camera. The mystery of … Continue reading
Time. It seems like it goes by so slowly. Then again, it seems to go by so fast. Either way, time does go on.
In this instance, it’s frozen. It’s eternally frozen. The beauty of frozen time bursts forth. There it is. Its shapes and size are intriguing. Its colors fade in and out. It’s deep. It’s shallow. It’s whatever you make of it.
What do you see? What does it mean to you? Let your imagination flow.

She’s kept to herself. She’s been in hibernation.
The time has come for her to emerge. She’s seeking nourishment. It’s been so long since her last meal.
As she emerges her beauty also emerges. She’s one of a kind. What is she?
That’s up to you to decide! She’s whatever you say she is.
This art piece is from Project 52.
This piece is also for sale in the art store, as well as the Cafe Press store.
The flame of love burns with a great passion in my heart.
I dedicate this art piece to my husband, who I’ve been married to, today, 2/13/2017, going into 18 years.
We’ve stood up through some harsh times and continue to stand together.
I love you, Paul M Edwards! Happy Anniversary and Valentine’s Day (even though Valentine’s Day is tomorrow).
She bursts forth as her energy builds. The wind blows and boom you have a new creation in sight.
Follow its lead. She’ll take you into a world unknown to you. It’s a wonderful and beautiful place that makes your heart smile. It’s a place of inspiration and wonderment! Be inspired!
What inspires you? Where does inspiration take you? Let that ruminate within you. Write down what comes to mind. Whether that’s drawing, writing, making photographic images, or whatever. Develop it. Allow it to build.
Let me know how it goes. I’d like to know.
All my art is for sale at the links provided in the menu. See what other art I have. Share it with others too.
Thank you for your support and encouragement. It is inspiring.
Butterflies and flowers. They make me smile. They make me smile inside and out. They’re such a great combination.
I love nature’s creation. The colors and shapes work to bring joy to life.
I fellow photo artist and blogger creates art and blogs about how to use art to decorate our living spaces. She shares about how colors affect us. She shares how the right colors and shapes open up small places and give the illusion of size. She shares about how colors and shapes bring life to a dreary gray space.
This art piece speaks all those things to me.
What does it speak to you? Leave me a comment and let me know.
This piece is also for sale in the art store. You have two choices. You can see them in the menus.
It was a cool brisk and sunny day. The ride was planned at the end of the year 2016. We were supposed to go on January 1st. It was rescheduled due to rain. The expression, “we’ll take a rain check” was quite apropos.
There were eight motorcycles and nine riders. I was the 9th rider because I was the passenger riding with my husband. We rode on the red motorcycle in the main part of the image.
The ride was in the desert mountains of Southern California. We stopped at this spot overlooking Borrego Springs, California down in the valley. In January 2015, I created a photo gallery of images I made from this same exact location. You can see those images here.
We rode a different motorcycle this time than we did 2 yrs ago. I won’t do it again. Long story short; my body was beaten on this ride. The wind and the seat I had to sit on did not treat me well. I still had fun with the group. And, I got to spend time with my wonderful Technogeek husband!
What are you doing in this new year to have fun? Comment and let me know. I’d love to read your stories.
